Jagat Kumari Academy is dedicated to my beloved mother Late Jagat Kumari Pradhan. As a founder, I am deeply committed to staying at the forefront of educational innovation. I started my education in an informal way walking bear footed on a dirt road crossing Jharahi river, to a forest in a thatched hut, a school nearby Sahuwatikar. It was challenges of then. With the notion to provide opportunities to the children of my village and its periphery, to enable them to compete at present, I wish this academy can be a little help. I value the power of a supportive and inclusive community and believe that the academy provides a safe and nurturing environment where every student feels respected, valued and empowered to embrace their individuality. I would like to express my gratitude to our dedicated parents and guardians for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children at this academy. |
INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Jagat Kumari Academy, where we strive to provide a nurturing learning environment for our students. With our dedicated and trained faculty, we are committed to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. Jagat Kumari Academy is a non-profit school founded under the name Jagat Kumari Pradhan (Beloved Mother of Hon' Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan).
This school was established feeling the need of providing quality education to under privileged children of Sahuwatikar and its periphery. The school began its journey on 2072 B.S. with 35 students and 9 staffs. Initially, classes from play-group to grade I were offered. Now, classes from play-group to grade VII are run in this academy.

Our mission is to empower our students with knowledge, critical thinking skills and passion for lifelong learning. We strive to instill them with a sense of social responsibilities, ethical values and the ability to adapt to a changing community.

We aim to shape our students to become a confident, compassionate and successful global citizen in future.
